When it comes to water transportation, the best way to traverse quietly and with the least chance of being seen by the enemy is by using a folding kayak. Missions undertaken by special forces require units to use methods of transportation that provide extreme stealth. US Army special forces use a folding kayak like this one

A folding kayak can get the special force soldier through a treacherous river or raging rapids, or across a vast lake without being detected by the enemy.
These kayaks can be collapsed into a smaller units that can be transported to and from bodies of water with ease. Even though the design of the folding kayak is over 100 years old, they still provide a means of discrete transportation for Army special forces units.

The weapon of choice for the Army special forces is the M4 carbine rifle. The M4 has its roots in the M16 carbine rifle, which can trace its design
to the AR-15.
The M4 has exceptional utility and can be modified specifically for the mission it is to be used on. Components that can be interchanged on the rifle include scopes, lights, and more (search “M4 Carbine”).
Another benefit of the M4 carbine is its light weight – only 5.9 lbs. when empty. Just for comparison, an average 12-gauge shotgun weighs about 7 lbs.
The M4 has the option of having a semi-automatic or three-round burst firing system. The M4A1 has the “full auto” option instead of the three-round burst. The M4 carbine is definitely a very customizable military surplus firearm.

Night vision goggles technology is one of the most advanced pieces of gear special force units in the army use. Night vision goggles amplify moonlight and starlight and, through chemical process occurring at the atomic level, use the light to provide clearer vision to the user than he would otherwise have at night.
The current standard issue model
of night vision goggles for US Army 
ground troops is made by ATN (American Technologies Network Corporation). The most recent model is the PVS7-3 (third generation).
Included with the PVS7-3 is a military head strap that fits over a military helmet, and allows for size adjustment.
Without night vision technology, US Army special forces would most likely have a tougher time completing their job. Although you may not need to spot a terrorist lurking in t
he desert at night, these goggles may give you the clarity you need when doing any given nighttime activity.
