The writers for Best Military Surplus are from around the world. We are Military, campers, outdoorsmen, and others who are happy to use or talk about Military Surplus gear.  See our team bio’s here

The reason everyone likes military surplus stuff so much is because
a) It’s great gear. Fun stuff for hobbies and cool stuff that the military uses.
b) It’s cheap. Hence the surplus.

We go around and test this gear out and find others who have and bring you news, articles, reviews and interesting stories about it. The kind of stuff we would want to read about ourselves.

Some of the reviews done by military members, whose wish their identities to remain anonymous. We do not represent any branch or military, just get the opinions for gear from some of those who serve in them.

We are affiliates for most of the stores and products we talk about, meaning that we make money when you buy something using the link we provide. That is good for you though, since our reputation is on the line more then the manufacturer. We want you to come back and read our articles again and again, which means we have to be diligent to give you the best articles possible.
