This is part 4 for the ‘What Would’ series. We take a person, fictional or real, and pick out all the coolest things they would buy from a military surplus store. This week’s is a bit goofy with the Klingon, but they are definitely warriors and a military people. We got Bill from KlingonWeapons.com to give us some tips on this one. The previous articles in this series are listed below:
Part 1 of the ‘What Would’ series: What Would Batman Buy From A Military Surplus Store?
Part 2 of the ‘What Would’ series: What Would Jack Bauer Buy From A Military Surplus Store?
Part 3 of the ‘What Would’ series: What Would The Punisher Buy From A Military Surplus Store?
Me: Hey Bill, nice to have you here, thanks for taking time from your busy weapons day.
Bill: no problem, what would you like to know about klingon weapons?
Me: We are running a series of articles on what would X buy from a military surplus store, and we’d like to know what a klingon warrior would buy from a military surplus store.
Bill: actually, believe it or not you can buy Klingon weapons at one of the stores you are affiliated with, and it’s a pretty big store. Klingon weapons are fairly niche, but thankfully there is a market for them.
Me: What kinds of weapons would a warrior look for?
Me: Who do you think would win in a fight, a current day Navy Seal or a 24th century Klingon?
Bill: The Seals definitely have range and sneaking up on enemies to their advantage if the Klingon was unprepared, but in a hand to hand combat situation, the Klingons strength would be mighty hard for a seal to overcome.
Me: Thank you for your time Bill. I know this isn’t a normal military surplus item, but we thought we’d have a little fun with it and widen the spectrum today.
Bill: Remember who your talking to here, I know all about how to widen spectrums, so don’t get me started.
